Though I have not played any sports seriously during college days, i took to Golf at the age of 40. It took one long year for me to hit the ball properly and to get eligibility for Golf membership in Players category in the year 2004. I used to play only on weekends till I was working and I play almost daily from April 2022, after retirement. My handicap is fluctuating between 14 and 18 all these years. In this handicap category I have been Winner in NR cup 2018, Doctors cup 2012, FK Irani Cup 2014, Addicts Mysore 2017, Kodagu cup 2021 and Eagles cup 2023. In match play NR cup, we won the Doubles Runner up trophy in the year 2023.

I am very passionate about Golf, thereby I am able to maintain some deciplene in my daily routine. I get up around 5:00 am everyday only because, I have to go for Golf.

Golf is such a unique game which reveals your personality while playing. You can judge the character and mentality of a person within a round of game with him. The game really presents you with good moments and bad moments within a span of 3 to 4 hours, which makes you think, That’s how the life goes on.
